How can I import/export contacts on GSM MP01?Updated 2 months ago

You can use the MP01 Import Tool to help import contacts onto the MP01.
This tool cleans the .vcf file of unneeded data (like contact pictures), reducing its size and making it compatible with the phone.

Steps to export contacts in vCard format:

From Gmail:

  • Sign in to your Gmail account and open Contacts.

  • Select the contacts to export (or all), click More → Export.

  • Choose vCard format, then click Export.

  • Name the file and save it on your desktop.

From Outlook (desktop version):

  • Open Outlook and go to Edit → Select All.

  • Create a new folder on your desktop.

  • Drag and drop your contacts to that folder (they will be saved as .vcf files).

  • Open Contacts from Launchpad.

  • Go to File → Import, select the .vcf files and click Open.

  • Export contacts from Contacts via File → Export → Export vCard, and save the file.

From Outlook via browser:

  • Go to the People section (via the square grid menu).

  • Click Manage → Export for Outlook.com and other services to save as a .csv file.

  • Open Contacts, go to File → Import… and select the .csv file.

  • After import, export the contacts as vCard via File → Export → Export vCard.

From a PC (Windows):

Using Gmail:

  • Sign in to Gmail and open Contacts.

  • Select contacts to export, then click More → Export, choose vCard format, and save.

Using Outlook:

  • Open Outlook and start a new email.

  • Go to Attach item → Business cards → Other Business cards…

  • Select the contacts one by one.

  • Drag and drop the attachments into a desktop folder (saved as .vcf files).

  • Open the MP01 Import Tool in Google Chrome.

  • Upload the vCard, adjust if needed, and download the cleaned file.

  • Connect the MP01 via USB and copy the vCard onto the device.

  • On the MP01, go to Contacts → Manage Contacts → Restore Contacts.

  • Select the transferred file to complete the import.
