Core System

• Fingerprint enrollment remains unavailable and is under development.
• Weak PINs (e.g. 123456) are still accepted during device onboarding and when changing the screen lock PIN in Settings.
• Missing vibration feedback for incoming calls, SMS, notifications and keyboard haptic feedback. We expect to add this functionality in the next release.
• Google Play Services ships with an outdated version and cannot currently be updated manually.
• Gallery requests storage permissions when launched from Camera despite being a preloaded system application.
• App Tray search functionality redirects all searches to Google Search instead of performing local device searches.
• In rare circumstances, incoming calls or message notifications may be delayed while the device is idle. Investigation is ongoing.

Connectivity

VPN

• Digital Nomad VPN may establish a connection successfully, but internet traffic can fail on IPv6-enabled mobile networks.

Workaround

Force the APN to use IPv4 only:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Network & Internet
3. Select SIM & Mobile Network
4. Open Access Point Names (APN)
5. Select the active APN
6. Locate APN Protocol and APN Roaming Protocol
7. Set both to IPv4
8. Save the changes

USB

• USB-C headphones may incorrectly trigger Switch to Punkt when connected.
• MicroSD storage is not exposed through MTP when the device is connected to a PC.
  
  

Switch to Punkt

• Switch to Punkt between MC03 and MC02 is currently not supported. Compatibility requires a future system update for MC02.
• Switch to Punkt may not work correctly with some Android 16 devices, including Pixel 8 and newer.
  
  

UI

• The App Tray background may display incorrect image..
• The status bar clock position may shift by a few pixels depending on the active page (Vault, Wild Web and App Tray).
• Some Settings screens display inconsistent background colors (black/gray). Visual consistency improvements are planned.
  
  

eSIM (Alpha)

Note: The eSIM feature is currently considered Alpha and remains under active development.

• eSIM provisioning may complete successfully, but outgoing voice calls can fail (observed with Fastweb).
• In some cases, deleting an eSIM profile may fail. Investigation is ongoing.
• Factory Reset does not currently remove installed eSIM profiles.
• In one observed scenario, an existing Fastweb eSIM profile remained installed after a Factory Reset and subsequently became fully operational. Investigation is ongoing.
• Incorrect phone number association may occur when disabling a physical SIM while an eSIM remains active.
• Minor graphical glitches may be visible in the eSIM application.
  
  

Notes

If the eSIM application is removed from the public build (or remains hidden behind an Alpha feature flag), the entire eSIM (Alpha) section should be omitted from the public release notes.
