v.2.0.0019 has been released to fix bugs related to Username creation and the user experience has been improved by offering better interfaces.

Changes

• Version number: The version number of Pigeon has changed.
• Re-base: Pigeon has been updated to Signal 7.8.1

Issues resolved

• Crash when setting username: Addressed and resolved a crash that occurred when users attempted to set their username within the app.
  It can now be set in Settings > Profile.
• Long messages readability: Improved the interface to allow users to read long messages more effectively. Users can now click on a long message and scroll through its content seamlessly.
• Input field visibility: Fixed an issue where the input field was not visible when replying to a message. The input field is now clearly visible, ensuring a smoother user experience.
• Contact search improvement: Enhanced the search functionality for contacts. Users can now search for a contact to send a new message more efficiently and accurately.
• Group Call main menu: Now the call menu page is normally navigable after returning from the Call Info menu.

Known issues

• Restore procedure UI feedback: No visual feedback during the restoration process. When the user enters the PIN, the restore begins and may take some time, depending on the amount of conversation history.
